Coronavirus (covid 19) long term surfaces disinfection using Nanoplate Itd nano-tech innovations.
What is the difference between one-time disinfection, and long-term disinfection?
We are familiar with many technologies, and materials used to disinfect rooms, and complexes.
Here is a short list of materials that can be used as disinfectants, for example,
- Alcohol
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Sodium hypo chloride (bleach)
- Ozone gas
- Alkylbenzyldimethylammonium chloride
- Aldehyde group materials, and more …
And these are disinfection technologies, for example,
- Disinfection using ultraviolet lighting
- Disinfection using ozone gas
- Disinfection by heating
- Plasma disinfection
- Chemical disinfectant
New antiseptic technology, developed by Nanoplate Itd., Incorporates various means, and technologies to achieve maximum results over time. Unlike other known short-term antiseptic methods, photo-active disinfection allows permanent disinfection for longer period of time.
The method is unique, and is tailored to each customer, and compound, individually and specifically, by our team of expert consultants which include chemical engineers, and purification and air conditioning technicians.
Nanoplate’s photoactive disinfection – how exactly does it work?
The new technology, as mentioned, consists of a combination of several technologies, and is implemented in 5 steps as follows:
1. Cleaning
Thoroughly clean all surfaces that are in the disinfected space. Cleaning is an important step to ensure maximum efficiency of the disinfection process. There are Cleaning companies that are skipping the cleaning phase, due of a lack of awareness to the effect of cleaning. The cleaning will be carried out, either, by our team, or, under the responsibility of the customer.
2. Combined chemical disinfectant
The chemical disinfectant will be selected by our professional team, according to the nature of the space treated. The main considerations when choosing a disinfectant, will be influenced by the nature of space treated, spaces that store food, surfaces that are sensitive to chemicals, proximity to adults, or children, or that are closely related to plants, and other organic matter. Also, proximity to hazardous materials, and individual and specific reference to all characteristics of the space treated. Also, sensitivity to the odors, or allergy, of people in the disinfection area must also be taken into account.
3. Widespread cleaning and disinfection
Nanoplate uses Swiss-developed material, which is suitable for most of the situations described so far. It is based on a combination of two substances, a strong disinfectant, that kills bacteria, and viruses immediately. The second substance, is highly diluted substance that remains on the surfaces, and prevents the culture of viruses over time. The formula of the substance will be at such concentration level that will not be hazardous to health, or to the environment, and without compromising the disinfection efficiency. Below is a description of how the material works:
Step 1 – Oxidant breaks through the walls of the virus
Step 2 – nano particles prevent energy supply and thus prevent the repeating culture of the viruses.
4. Green disinfection by catalytic / photo-catalytic coating
Why green? Because no chemicals that are harmful to the environment are used.
What is a Catalytic Disinfection? There are coatings that react with light (with photons) and form a process similar to the photosynthesis process. The photocatalytic coating can react with sunlight, or fluorescent lighting, and the humidity in the air, creating radicals (OH) that destroy and immediately disintegrate the viruses.
The photocatalytic coating has other useful features that are notable,
- Disable odors
- Decomposition of harmful organic gases
- Smoke neutralization, and other features.
Because the coating is affected and responds with sunlight, or fluorescent lighting, it may be necessary to replace, or install appropriate bulbs in the treated space where the photo-catalytic coating is performed.
5. Monitoring and monitoring of autoclave level
Nanoplate preforms an inspection of the level of infection on the site, before, and after a photoactive disinfection. This is done with a mobile test device that measures the sterility of surfaces from bacteria and viruses. In addition, we have a device for testing odors, and pollutants in the air.
In the Corona era (and beyond), Nanoplate Itd., Offers effective, innovative and advanced anti-bacterial applications and solutions for a variety of situations and needs, for example,
- Anti-bacterial dye
- Anti-bacterial covers
- Anti-bacterial nano-silver spray
- Catalytic Nano Titanium Di Oxide Based Catalytic Spray, or Nano Zinc Oxide
- Hydrogen peroxide stabilized with silver nano.
In this age, bacteria, bacteria and viruses have become an existential and real threat to public health, the latest and innovative solutions of Nanoplate Itd., are effective, reliable and an additional, and welcome layer of protection.
